UC San Diego Geriatrics Fellowship Program

Overview

The UC San Diego Geriatrics Fellowship is a one-year accredited training program designed to obtain competencies in all six core areas and to develop geriatricians who desire to work in an academic environment and become leaders in the field of geriatrics.

The first year is designed to meet the clinical requirements for the Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Geriatrics from the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Board of Family Medicine, depending on the board certification of the trainee.

A second research year is available.
